With this year’s awards season in full flow and Spring/Summer 2014 fast approaching, there has been abundance of fabulous celebrity hair trends on show to draw inspiration from!

From looking at the many up do’s and top hairstyles from the biggest events this year, including the 86th Annual Academy Awards, BRIT Awards & 2014 BAFTA’s, we decided to create our own flawless, red carpet worthy look at our Liverpool Hairdressers, styled by Voodou fave Preston.
This look would be perfect for the races, and would look fantastic when paired with a chic hair accessory. Why not stand out from the crowd at Aintree this year, with our gorgeous up-do?!
Preston’s Inspiration
Preston’s inspiration for our Voodou look was the timeless hair trend that swept through the red carpet loose, 40′s inspired Hollywood waves, which were spotted on the likes of Aussie-born nominee Margot Robbie, Cate Blanchett oozed Hollywood glamour with her blonde waves brushed to the side, whilst Sandra Bullock wore her brunette locks in tumbling curls, also to one side.
Preston also drew inspiration from the up-do styles on show this year, with stars like Penelope Cruz looking fabulous wearing her brunette waves up in a high, regal bun, whilst Olivia Wilde looked effortlessly chic with her messy up do. Lady Gaga’s structured low-loop bun was also a hit on the red carpet.
