Big Fat Gypsy Wedding has GOT to be one of the best things on the tellybox right now hasn’t it? Just when you though it couldn’t get any bigger, fatter or gypsier it does!
I mean, how can traveller dressmaker of choice (and gorgeous Voodou client) Thelma Madine top the pineapple and palm tree dresses???
If you missed the first episode of this new series our very own Voodou big boss Rob and Creative Director Ryan were guest judges at the very first Traveller Beauty Pageant. So, we were poised with the camera at the screen ready to get photographic proof of them on the programme:
They were very professional and diplomatic, giving their humble opinions and crowning the overall winner.
This came about through client and friend of Voodou, Thelma. You may remember she designed our amazing hair dress and since then we’ve become involved in a couple of projects together.
Thelma’s memoirs are now available in print for she has written her much anticipated book ‘Tales of the Gypsy Dressmaker’.
In a narrative packed full of highs and lows, setbacks and triumphs, crystals, mechanical butterflies and sparkling little lights, this book will shock, move and amaze and bring Thelma and the secretive world of travelers to life.

Thelma will be at WHSmith in Liverpool One on Wednesday 29th February from 6pm signing copies of her book.
