Voodou Breck Road’s senior stylist, Alan Robinson talks us through the Product of the Week – Wella Professional wet Velvet Amplifier style primer serum.
“I love this because it smooths, gives great shine and really shows off the texture in the cut” beams the very smiley, gorgeous, Alan.
This concentrated serum is said to improve manageability and amplify control with just one pump. So how does Alan use it day to day on his clients?
“You can use it to prepare the hair for any look but I always use it for curly blows. It’s great! Just before the blow drying stage, after towel drying the hair. You only need a really tiny amount, no more than the size of a 5p piece so this little tube lasts ages. Also, depending on the hair type, it works really really well with Wella’s Brilliance (for coloured hair) or Enriched (for dry hair) shampoo and conditioning combos.”
This leave in serum comes in 50ml pump bottles for smooth styling. Priced at £8.65 it’s available in all Voodou salons.
