The Voodou salon group in Liverpool has proved itself a cut above other hair salons in the country, by picking up the Marketing Campaign of the Year award at HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2019. 

Recognised for an outstanding creative vision and marketing strategy, Voodou beat competition from five other British finalist salons to win the award. Sally Marketing Manager and Anna Head Of Social, who work at the three-salon group, received the trophy at the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza Hotel in London on September 9th. Celebrity host Vernon Kay presented the accolade at the high-profile affair, which attracted peers and influencers from the hair world.

Voodou’s clear branding and marketing plan impressed a host of industry judges, standing out for its creative vision and seamless way of using all marketing channels to retain existing clients and attract new customers.

The awards, now in their 21st year, celebrate the people making the British hairdressing industry the most respected in the world.

The sixteen categories spotlight the people making the industry great, from the best team, to most accomplished salon manager, to outstanding assistant to new innovation. Franchisee, stylist and customer care programmes are also recognised in the line-up, as well as specific awards for salon design and the stylist making the most of social media to grow their business.
