A host of British and International music stars gathered at London’s O2 arena to award and honour the musical greats that put the UK on the map when it comes to music at the 2013 BRIT Awards. Whilst eagerly anticipating the televised show, we have collated our favourite BRIT Awards 2013 red carpet hairstyles.
Long Hairstyles at the BRITs 2013
Jessie J’s BRIT Awards 2013 hairstyle was long, sleek and very dark. Jessie’s hair parting was also placed central and her trademark fringe seems to have been grown out. Her daring neckline was the talk of the town!
Rebecca Ferguson’s hairstyle at the BRITs 2013 was achieved using hair extensions. Looking at her hairline it seems to us that she’s used a hair piece placed towards the back of her crown with the ends curled and blown for this starlet worthy BRIT Awards hairstyle.
It may be called the BRIT awards but that doesn’t stop us kind brits allowing our cousins from across the pond to come out to play too. American sweetheart and chart topper Taylor Swift looked sensational on the red carpet at the BRIT awards 2013. Her long blonde highlighted Brit Awards 2013 hairstyle complimented her long stylish dress perfectly.
Updo Hairstyles at the BRITs 2013
Pussycat Dolls golden girl Ashley Roberts sported a braided top knot hairstyle for her BRIT Awards red carpet hairstyle. Her fringe was braided back into the knot to complete and finish this simple easy updo BRIT Awards hairstyle.
Emeli Sande’s hair is shaved at the sides but the top has been kept long to help her achieve her sky high BRIT Awards 2013 hair style. This elegant short up do hairstyle in the platinum blonde colour really sets Emeli apart from the crowd. It’s dramatic, striking and it really suits her, bringing out her features.
Paloma Faith’s BRIT Awards hairstyle is a stark contrast to her BAFTAs hairstyle from little over a week ago. Still an updo, still piled high but this time her two tone ginger and blonde hair has been set in very tight curls for her BRIT Awards hairstyle 2013.
Hair Colour at the Brit Awards 2013
Stoosh displayed a variety of hair colours with their BRIT Awards 2013 hairstyles. From plums to dark browns and then to white blonde the Stoosh ladies know how to rock hair colour on the BRIT Awards 2013 Red Carpet. Shame the middle one raided Emma Bunton’s old Spice Girls wardrobe and nicked her shoes.
Delilah (yeah we don’t know who she is either but we like her hair) showed us that the Ombre hair colour trend is still well and truly alive and kicking with her BRITAwards 2013 hairstyle.
Tom Odell proves that the Ombre hair trend isn’t necessarily just for the ladies here he is with his Hanson-esque man-do complete with sunkissed colour on the ends of his hair.
Amy Winehouse and the 2013 BRIT Awards
Finally, we had to mention the Queen of the Beehive Hairstyle Amy Winehouse who was posthumously nominated in the Best Female category at the BRIT Awards. Amy’s iconic look encouraged a legion of ladies to follow her hairstyle so it seems only fitting to mention her too. Her parents were there to collect her award, with Dad Mitch sporting a bespoke Amy printed waistcoat. A touching tribute.
