Ten of the city’s top businesses, including Voodou, went head-to-head in the kitchen to raise awareness for The World’s Biggest Coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Solicitors, hairdressers, accountants and candle makers all took part in a bake off at Can Cook Studios on September 19 for the Macmillan Bake Off 2012.
Each team of two was asked to bake one cake and also a batch of biscuits or scones, with all recipes being cooked from scratch on the day. All baking and decoration were to be completed within two hours.
Voodou’s Alex Gannon and Ro Saini were crowned the winners on the day with their Voodou Jack white chocolate cake and savoury cheese scones.
Well done guys we are very proud and the end results tasted amazing!!
